As a matter of fact I don&#8217;t think I ever climb a boulder outdoors (Ivy Chimney counts?).<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve decided yesterday that we just going to go and check out The Scalp today.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent guides are available on <a href=\"http:\/\/wiki.climbing.ie\/index.php\/The_Scalp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">climbing.ie wiki<\/a>\u00a0&amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dublinmountains.ie\/fileadmin\/user_upload\/documents\/Bouldering_Three_Rock_Scalp.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dublinmountains.ie<\/a>, so I won&#8217;t get into details of how to get there (other than the fact, that&#8217;s it literally around the corner from where we live).<\/p>\n<p>Monika and I\u00a0arrived\u00a0just before 5pm and were promptly joined by Andrew and Louis. It&#8217;s a highball face with apparently good holds. Monika went highest, but also eventually climbed down.
